2001 Apple Ipod 5GB Model Code M8541. Complete with original earphones, firewire cable and charger.

Designed By Sir Jonanthan Ive for Apple Computers Inc. 10.2cm x 6.2cm x 2cm. Condition: Very good lightly used and working.

The Apple Ipod launched with the slogan "1000 songs in your pocket" in October 2001. Whilst it wasnt the first mp3 on the market, its intuitive interface and satisfying design by British product designer Sir Jonathan Ive combine with a 10 hour battery life to put the ipod firmly at #1. This was the only ipod model to have a mechanical scroll wheel (future models had fixed touch-sensitive wheels). A true icon that dramatically transformed the way we store and enjoy audio whilst being a beautiful device to look at and hold.
