Double sided, hand-painted wood sign with aluminium insertions. Produced by London Transport. Excellent condition. Measures approximately 75cm x 15cm.
These superb hand-painted signs were used at stations on the Uxbridge Branch of the Metropolitan Line. Station Foremen would manually change the destination boards according to which train was due to arrive. It is believed these signs featured at stations between Hillingdon and Rayners Lane.
